“We loved our stay and we were able to enjoy the fire pit. As instructed, we emailed and phoned our contact starting 24 hours prior to arrival to see about early check in. We never received a reply. Lack of communication was the only issue for us. It was perfect for our needs otherwise. ”

“Perfect for the two of us. Took a minute to get used to the stairs but everything else was set up great. We hung out on the deck overlooking the lake, plays games on the screen porch and even got the sauna going. The fire pit was perfect and it was nice they supplied all of the wood. Definitely recommend for a couple. ”

“I wanted a trip to escape with my kiddos and be in nature!! This was exactly that. We enjoyed every minute and the best part was we were left alone. There was enough dishes for a family of 4. Theres a microwave, small toaster oven (I thought I could make puzza and you have to 4th the pizza to do so), there's a grilling grate, so we brought tin foil for burgers; super good. “Excellent location close to many state parks. We stayed for a family wedding and had extra time to explore the shore. The view was great and accommodations were perfect!”

“Property is just as described. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard. The cabin was very clean with a rustic feeling that we enjoyed. No cell service for Verizon made it a true getaway!!”

“Great little cabin in a fairly remote area. Access to Lake Superior South shore is about a 20 min hike on a nice trail. Amenities feel very similar to most commercial/county campsites. Plenty of parking. Keep in mind there is no AC on the cabin but there is heat. Fun little place to stay.”

“Waking up every morning with a gorgeous view of Lake Superior makes this worth the stay alone! We loved the fire pit, sauna, as well as easy access to bike trails and state parks. At the end of a day full of adventure, it felt great to retreat to our modern, peaceful home-away-from-home with our dog and cozy up for a movie in bed. Definitely recommend this property! ”
