The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. There was a large event in the area, so most of the rooms were filled. I found my room to be quiet. The breakfasts were just fine and the staff in the breakfast room was nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again.

This place should be rented on chbo . com (crack house by owner dot com). We have stayed in Best Westerns before and always had great experiences. This one, however, is surrounded by homeless, tweakers yards from your hotel doors, and a visible and obvious gang just down the street. The window screens on the bottom floor are all bent up from people trying to break in the rooms. Upstairs "balcony" is crooked. Food splatter in the microwave. Dirt in every corner, edges of the flooring, on the walls and ceiling. The floors are so poorly built that my kids just walking across the floor prompted complaints from downstairs rooms and warnings from the front desk. We have well behaved children, no littles or toddlers, and have never had a complaint against us at a hotel before. It was so unsafe we couldn't let our teens out of the room alone, even just to run to the car or breakfast room. We will never stay here again, and do not recommend it for anyone else. It is the FURTHEST from being "kid friendly" or "great for families". Stay somewhere else. Unless used crack pipes in the parking lot and a homeless person's trash and blankets in the hallway is your thing.
