“We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this……

“It's a unique older property that has a lot of character and interesting decor. The room I got on arrival wasn't clean, hair and wet, and on subsequent days the cleaning was subpar, eg. Still toothpaste in the sink, but they gave me more towels and water. When I did talk to the property they tried to fix things asap. The room I had, had a musty smell coming from the washroom. Bed was good.”

“The hotel was very cute and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! We had dinner in the bar and it was great, as well. There was a bus stop just across the street, but we decided to walk to town, and it was a very easy walk. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Fantastic hotel, amazing staff and location perfect. The small town of Leighlinbridge had many hidden gems! Food was great, both breakfast and the restaurant. Only small niggle was the tired bedroom and en suite, which whilst perfectly functional, could do with a refresh.”

“Our Kilkea Castel stay was amazing. It was quite beautiful clean and very pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Also the activities room was great and the staff was very helpful there as well. The only thing that was a bit off putting was the smoking in the patio area while me and my children were sitting outside although I'm not sure non smoking areas are a thing in Ireland. Also we came on the hottest week of the year and there wasn't air conditioning or……
