“The Faraway was a very beautifully appointed Boutique hotel and we loved our stay here. The rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases but very charming and the courtyard is a really fun place to hang out. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Nantucket. The staff were a little unresponsive and often seemed to be unsure how to help. One day our room was not made up despite us being out all day. Otherwise I highly recommend the Faraway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“We stayed for a long weekend, a group in our mid-30s, and overall the experience was as expected based on the listing and photos.It was relatively clean, though we did notice a fair amount of cobwebs throughout. Also worth noting: the owner lives on-site and did ask us to keep the noise down on Friday evening, so this may be something to keep in mind if your group plans to be social. Sound insulation is also limited—you can hear everything from upstairs, with noise typically starting around……

“Front door locks at about 9 or 10pm. Must open it with my room key. When it was bolted, this was almost impossible....really almost impossible. I could have been locked out all night.”
