The Rocks6 nights5.0 star property8.6/10 - Excellent (1,000 reviews)"This hotel is in a fantastic location and it is a very nice hotel but it should not be billed as a 5 star luxury hotel. It is really a 3.5 star hotel. The biggest complaints are no elevator, they do have a dumb waiter for bags. The windows are single pane (barely). When people walk ups and down the Suez Canal or Nurses walk you can hear every conversation. There is a bar behind the property that gets loud as well. Next is no bottled water but the staff did tell me I could feel free to..."Reviewed November 5, 2026Roundtrip • Los Angeles (LAX) - Sydney (SYD)LAX - SYD • Nonstop SYD - LAX • Nonstop$3,064$2,468found 21 hours agoper traveler - YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites

"I didnt like not having a parking spot when i arrived late at night , then parked in the street then worried about my expensive staff in my car so i brought it back in the carpark but i could only park in the disabled ."
"This place is a funny mix of nice and not. It's an old motel. The gardens are lovely. The pool is nice but not heated (had a swim but it was freezing on a hot day). The gym area is spacious but doesn't have any treadmills or rowing machines. The room was large and mostly clean and updated but feels dated. The tiled area at the entrance was dirty. The bathroom was modernised but smelled awful. The breakfast fridge was great. Noodles, yoghurt, cereal, fresh fruit, nut bars, flavoured milk,...
"Always a good place to stay. Parking was difficult as I had to park some distance away and carry luggage due to many vehicles parked and some area in front of the rooms taken by stacked pallets from there. I am older"
"For what it was it was reasonable value for the money. The bathroom is a bit aged and could do some work with the tiles and a better shower curtain arrangement. Most of the bathroom got very wet which included the Mat and I would suggest that they stop the garbage pick up at 1:30 in the morning around the back. It was very loud and noisy and woke me out of a very deep sleep."
"Good to be able to stay in Gosford on a reduced nightly tariff from the motels. Shared bathrooms are all well appointed, recently renovated. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Good food in the hotel. Amazing old elevator. Very easy place to stay. All very good, except for phone contact numbers - mobile provides no contact with advice to ring 000 if have an emergency then shuts off, landline goes to AI assistant which says will pass issue onto a staff member for them to contact you but it...
