This is a private APARTMENT that is the 1st level of the three-level 5,500 ft2 home. The owners live in the 2 levels above the apartment. It has its own entrance and is totally separated from the balance of the home. The apartment is 1,700 ft2.
The setting provides a feeling of being away from it all, yet you can get to downtown Nashville in 25 to 30 minutes.
The private 1st level of the home has floor to ceiling French windows with panoramic views of giant oaks, turkeys, birds & deer. Over 1,700 ft2 of living space with pool table, table tennis & Yamaha Keyboard. All seating in the great room reclines for comfortable relaxation by a wood stove. There is a large bedroom that has a King bed with designer fabrics & a sofa, with a walk-in closet. There is a large fully equipped kitchen, & There is a Queen bed in the recreation area. We are only minutes to downtown Nashville where antique shops, restaurants, & wineries abound. We are 19 miles away from the Grand Ole Opry & other attractions are nearby as well.
We have a beautiful pond with four waterfalls with a delightful sound of water. There you will also find a flagstone patio with an umbrella table with four chairs as well as two Adirondack style chairs.
There is a large private patio area with abundant seating that includes a patio table with 4 chairs, 2 sky chairs, a Teakwood two seat swing where you can enjoy the beautiful setting and views of nature. There is also a propane grill for your barbequing pleasure.
There are two TV's, a 55" and 40" flat screen, and a DVR in the living room. We also have Netflix. High speed internet - 50mbps WiFi & Ethernet.

The home is located on 5 acres with a hillside setting so you can enjoy walks on the property as well. We also have a long hillside paved driveway that has a flat section where you can walk for exercise. Additionally, within walking distance, a few minutes from the home, there is a beautiful lake and other awesome scenes that include horses., and a barn. there is also a new walking park about two miles east of our home.

Very relaxing and convenient
We stayed with Gary and Christina for 6 nights. The house was very roomy, clean and comfortable. The location was a welcome and quiet retreat from a wedding in Nashville and party downtown the next day. It was very relaxing to sit by the pond and waterfall to read or enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would definitely stay there again.

Property was exactly as described. Clean well kept house and property. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space inside and outside to unwind and enjoy our evening after a round of golf and dinner every day. Mornings were filled with the sound of birds and lots of wildlife in the yard and around the waterfall. I have a large waterfall at home in my yard and daily visits from deer, turkeys, and many other wildlife and birds. I was able to enjoy all of these same things here at the property without the stress of daily life back at home.

Well worth booking this amazing VRBO. It's located in a wonderful location that we felt very safe and enjoyed the turkeys, deer and squirrels that were seen in the morning. You have a beautiful view of Tennessee hills and trees all around you as you relax either by their 3 water falls or sit on the nice swing, they have outside for their visitor's enjoyment. We were greeted with fresh baked brownies and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our trip on our mini family getaway. This place you won't regret booking and I encourage anyone to stay here and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. You won't regret it !!!

Comfort was A++. Decor was beautiful with such attention to detail. Furniture and bedding were most comfortable, Hosts were magnificent. House Book provided details and excellent instruction when it came to using grill, appliances, tv’s, and other amenities. Home book also provided excellent suggestions in-town and several downtown Nashville highlights. Outside water fountain was a perfect touch for a natural oasis environment with plentiful amount of bird feeders and nature all around.

Beautiful! Short ride Downtown Nashville. Fully equipped beautiful apartment on 5 gorgeous acres of land. Ponds waterfalls very peaceful! The hosts are wonderful! I would recommend it to everyone!

Love the view
We enjoyed the view of the property we were able to see eight deers,two rabbits,and three squirrels. The waterfall outside the house sounded wonderful when you walked outside you could hear the waterfall and it was so relaxing. only negative thing we had was a problem with ladybugs but the owner's offered to come down and sweep them up for us but we had already done it for some reason it was just a ladybug season and they were throughout the house but we're from the country anyway so that's no problem . we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be coming back again.

We needed to decompress and this was the great place for it. Everything was as they showed online. We were surprised with brownies that were delicious. A hot tub overlooking that view would have made it perfect but we loved it and will be back.

Felt like we were on a treehouse! Recliners were great!
Watching the leaves falling while relaxing in the recliners or on the front porch of apartment made us feel like we were right in the top of a tree house! The driveway is uphill and there is a slope down to sidewalk going to apartment so my husband who had knee surgeries was able to make it up and down slope. The one bathroom has good size shower with small step in and small bench with grab bar. Nice to have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers. Sweet treats were provided along with popcorn! Beds were big and comfy. Streaming and direct TV. Washer and dryer were great. Owners were so sweet! Great communication! Highly recommend!

Simply Amazing!
The drive up is beautiful! When we got there homemade cookies were sitting on the table. The house has everything you need. It is really nice to sit on back porch and listen to the waterfalls. At one point we had about 9 deer in the back not to far from us. There was also quite a few wild turkeys that came up to back porch. Such a peaceful place to stay away from the hustle of Nashville while still being close enough to go downtown for concerts and visit. We also did some antique shops in Goodletsville that were really nice. Best place I have stayed in Nashville area so far!

The pictures online don’t do this place justice. I sat out by the pond the first morning and was greeted by Deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, squirrels, and other wildlife. It is truly a peaceful oasis with breathtaking views and 20 minutes or so to downtown Nashville.

Perfect location
This is the perfect location for a Nashville trip as its about 30 min from everything. The APARTMENT has everything you could need or ask for. My boys and I loved the ability to play pool every night that was a huge plus and a reason we booked here. Only negative and its not really a negative just came as a little bit of a surprise is that the owners live full time up stairs and this is a basement apartment. After going back to the listing I did find where it said apartment in one spot so it is there they just do not make it clear in my opinion and after reading some other comments now it seems others had the same thoughts. All in all we had a great time here!

Very Nice Rental in Beautiful Location
This rental is as advertised. The owners have turned the lower level of their home into a perfect home away from home for others to enjoy. Everything you could need is provided including a nice pool table, plenty of channels on the TV, and beautiful grounds with abundant wildlife to watch and enjoy. The unit is a 20 to 30 minute drive from all the Nashville activities, but it has easy access to the freeway so that is not an issue. We enjoyed the peace and quiet to come home to after all the craziness of Nashville lol. The owners are very responsive, and we appreciated the three bags of microwave popcorn they left out for us. The only thing we seen that could be a little better is the cleanliness of the outdoor furniture. I realize that is a tough task (and NOT a big deal), but just a suggestion. Lastly, if you do decide to enjoy the beautiful outside area, be sure to spray with repellant. The no-see-ums WILL get you if not. We would definitely stay again. Enjoy!

This property is very nice. Pictures were a little deceiving. It shows a big beautiful house but in reality you stay in an apartment/basement. Owners live in the upper part of the house. There is plenty of wildlife to look at right out the back window. Deer, turkeys, squirrels, and chipmunks. They will eat the brownies that the owners leave for you haha. You are very close to town and plenty of amenities. There are no curtains or privacy across the back of the house which isnt a big deal just making future customers aware. Nashville is just a short drive. All in all 5 star property. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful rental just outside of Nashville.
This rental property is just outside of Nashville, TN and is absolutely beautiful. The rental looks just like the pictures in the advertisement, and really is just a picturesque setting on a hillside. For guests planning to use the fold-out beds available, know that there are no window privacy coverings for the person(s) sleeping on the foldout. Not a big deal, as there is privacy in the bedroom and behind the curtains enclosing the second bed. We hope to stay here again when visiting Nashville!

Quiet location, close to everything you might need (groceries, gas, food). All the comforts of home provided. Owner made delicious brownies for us! In less than 30 minutes, you can be walking down Broadway in downtown Nashville.
