9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,012 reviews)
Clean but austere. Tried to have breakfast one morning and everything was really crowded. Half the tables were empty, but dishes were still on the table, so it was unclear if you could sit there finally found one person wildly running around trying to serve everyone he honestly said I could wait and it would be 20 to 30 minutes because there was just one of him doing everything so I ended up driving to a diner. Well it’s certainly not far to walk from the hotel to town. It’s a bit odd. You have to cross the lovely campus and then you end up on a major street/highway. You go under an overpass and around a band and then you are in town. if I had to do it again I would stay properly in town. Also, if you are a fan of streaming, bring your own devices as the televisions are not compatible with that. All that said, this is probably a very lovely place to stay for people who appreciate staying in an old building. Just wasn’t the right choice for me, wish I had read about the property more before booking.
