Beautiful property and room! Horrible bed!

We did not receive housekeeping services while we were there. I was told to check in that we would receive housekeeping services because we were staying longer than one night. We stayed for two nights - after coming in on Saturday night after a long day being gone - our room was in the same condition as it had been when we left - no fresh linens dropped off, beds had not been made, no services whatsoever. Additionally, whoever had stayed in the room previously had left the alarm set for a very early hour, which had not been checked by the hotel and woke us up VERY early on our first morning.

The Lodge was very clean and cozy. My husband and I came in for an endurance event and arrived late but was still easy to check in and get settled. Coffee, water and snacks were provided for us. I loved sitting out on the top front porch once the temps started to cool. It was also nice when a few other guests checked in for the weekend.
