"WOW, great views of the lake. This place is close to hiking trails and kayaks are available on the property. The atmosphere is serene--so peaceful. A great couple getaway! Neat, clean, recently built---the beds are super amazing. Couldn't ask for better hosts!!! They truly have the gift of hospitality!"

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house is beautiful and well stocked with all the extras we needed. We enjoyed kyaking and fishing on the private lake and picnicking on the grassy area beside the lake. From the deck of the house we enjoyed BBQing and watching the local wildlife. We also tried out nearby bike trails. Great communication with the hosts. We highly recommend!"

"We went as a group of young moms for a comedy show and a quick overnight stay in Joplin. Between the 5 of us, the nightly rent was completely fair, especially for all of us to feel so special and glamorous to stay in such a fabulous house. We loved it and had so much fun!"

"We celebrated my father-in-law's 70th birthday with 13 people, ranging in age from six to ... 70. :) Everything was exactly as described. The kids and younger adults had a great time in the pool, and everyone enjoyed swimming in the lake and taking out the kayaks and paddleboard. It was nice to have so much space to spread out in, but even when we were all on a single floor, it felt like plenty of room. Would definitely rent the house for family again."
