"My partner and I travelled from London and booked a one-night stay here, and I have to say, this hotel had everything we were looking for. Check-in was seamless. The lady at reception was incredibly professional and polite, with such a lovely personality and welcoming smile. Our room was great — clean, fresh, tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a really good variety to choose from. The gentleman who greeted us in the morning was also wonderful — professional, friendly and welcoming. He greeted us with a lovely ‘good morning’, showed us to our table and, knowing it was our first time there, took the time to explain where everything was. It’s those little touches and genuinely friendly service that make such a difference. There’s also a Harvester directly opposite the hotel, which was really convenient, and we enjoyed lunch there during our stay. Would we stay here again? A definite **YES!** We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. See you again soon, and thank you to the team for making our stay so enjoyable!"

"A really lovely stay! The building is fantastic - its beautiful and surprisingly fresh and clean even though its 500+ years old. The staff were brilliant across the board - friendly, helpful and professional. The spa was great, the breakfast was great."

"I visited for a weekend break during the summer. The hotel was good for a stay in Northampton is very central to the shopping area. The room was fine, and had everything you would expect from any lower price chain hotel. My main grumble was to do with temperature. It was hot outside, more the first night than the second, and although the reception area was beautifully air conditioned, the corridors and room weren't. A fan would've been good in the room, and since the windows had restricted opening it was hard to cool the room down. I didn't try any food or drink in the hotel so can't comment on those. The staff were friendly."

"Friendly helpful staff. A nice place for a stop over with dining available in the pub. Reasonable price breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms and surprisingly quiet given location near to a busy road."

"Lovely setting over the lake. The beach cabin met our requirements. Bunk beds were a bit small for teenagers and hardly any toilet roll provided. The cabin could have been a bit cleaner."

"Parking was great and fairly secure. Floors are uneven everywhere. Shower stall was low step in - terrific - and appeared fairly new. Steps to go everywhere. No air conditioning."
