“Very secluded one room cabin with sink and toilet. Lighting on solar electric. Propane BBQ and camp stove. Overall quite clean. Time will meet you at the main road and guide you in. SUPER good guy, informative and friendly. Maximum solitude. While many have experience coyotes, owls and their things we did hear woodpeckers and several song birds but otherwise very quiet. We just spent one overnight so not a great deal of time to refer to.”

“Jack Pine Jr is a charming property, but we found the listing misleading. The bathroom is separate from the main cabin and, while fairly clean, is propane-based (so it functions—and smells—more like an outhouse, as waste remains in the toilet for the duration of the stay). Meanwhile, the “shower” is a camping shower (i.e. a non-heated water bladder, located outdoors). The images of the cabin and listed amenities do not make this clear (one of the outhouse/bathroom photos is even labelled sauna!)……
