“This was the most incredible rental we’ve ever stayed in. The beautiful and historic home was so comfortable, tastefully decorated, spacious, stocked with thoughtful amenities like snacks, coffee, and drinks. You feel like you’re walking into a friends home the way the host makes you feel. He was so accommodating, responsive, and kind. It was a literal cultural experience with all the art, decor, and tools to be able to listen to music in every room. Comfortable beds!! Jacuzzi tubs! The list……

“I booked a property through Expedia for six guests to visit Sesame Place. Upon arriving around 7:50 PM, the host told us the property was already occupied. We wasted an hour driving back and forth, plus a six-hour round-trip drive home, and lost our entire second day at the park. "The stay was eye-opening, though not in a good way. The room carried a sharp odor, the carpet had multiple stains, and several surfaces were obviously not cleaned. Even the headboard was sticky, and the desk chair was missing a leg—hardly what you’d expect in any well-maintained hotel. Service at the front desk reflected the same lack of care: little acknowledgment when you arrive, almost inaudible communication, credit cards left on the counter instead of handed back, and no room number mentioned with the key. If this were a budget roadside inn, it might be easier to overlook. But this is Hyatt, a brand I’ve trusted for consistent quality. The gap between reputation and reality here was striking. I left wondering if the Hyatt sign out front was just for decoration. "
