“The Harbour Studio is really lovely. Easily accessible. Close to town and supermarkets etc.It was also very warm, and dry despite being winter. The room gets sun all afternoon (if there is sun to be had)Despite sharing access with two other properties, it was lovely and private.I enjoyed a couple of lovely walks along the shared path that runs along the harbour.The standout feature of the studio is the view. Day, night, anytime, you want to keep the curtains open to enjoy it.We ended up staying……

“This was a nicely-kept property that is convenient to town. As others have noted, it IS on a hill (as are most places in Queenstown) so the walk BACK from town may be a bit strenuous for some. Being on the hill, however, provides a nice view of the lake. There IS some construction in the area, but this did not affect us aside from adding a minute or two to the walk into town. Parking is available right outside the front door, but beware that it is tight. I was glad we did not have a larger……

I would recommend sleeping with earplugs as there is a train the goes by at night, but otherwise the stay was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again. ”

There are no nearby retail options so you do need to be relatively self contained - there are nearby beach and historic tumbledown buildings and wharf to explore as well as other sightseeing options within easy driving distance - a great place for a few days away from it all and to chill or to explore - getting there is a significant drive, as there are only two access directions via either Whakatane or Gisborne, but in……
