Amazing stay

Miriam and Ben are phenomenal hosts. Anyone coming into the area I would highly recommend staying here! The property is beautiful and very secluded. It’s the perfect, peaceful getaway.

Amazing as always….I have lost count of the number of stays at the Lapp homestead. Each time that we stay there is better than the last time…..It was very hard for us to leave….but…..we will be back soon!

Beautiful retreat

Our stay was very nice. Scenery as beautiful. Just an FYI, you are always from everything, no TV or internet , but that did not bother us as our phones still worked and we don’t really watch much TV anyway. Also the apartment is above their barn with a shared living space so it did get noisy at times, but not terrible. Miriam Provided baked goods in the morning and was available for any needs. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing time on this trip. The house was clean and beautiful, and the location was amazing. Miriam's baked goods delivered to us in the morning were delicious! Perfect Country Get-Away

This is a wonderful country get away, with country charm. The soaking tub is a nice addition to an already fully furnished apartment. Miriam was a perfect hostess and her baked treats are yummy. We hope to return to this quiet retreat.

Beautiful little getaway

Every touch was wonderful! The family is so sweet and welcoming. The treats made by the host and her daughter were delicious and did not disappoint, just added to the uniqueness and making guests feel special! Thank you for a beautiful little getaway.

48 year anniversary

Miriam made different cookie/deserts and left them outside the door each morning, very good. Highly recommend for a stay will try to be back next year. Can't say enough in this short text, but very very impressed, should get a 10 star rating. Clean, quiet rural setting that made leaving the only issue!!! Wanted to stay longer!

This apt above the barn was awesome. Mariam was very nice and her treats were awesome. I can’t wait to go back and hopefully not be running around so much to take time to appreciate the surroundings.

Wonderful. Clean ,well equipped and quiet. We were out all day and got in very late the first night. When you get to what you think is the end of the road, keep going and look for number 5. Newly paved road through the trees. The barn is the biggest building. Excellent stay.

Delightful Retreat

We had a delightful, restful two days in the quiet countryside. Our hostess was sweet and kind and made us feel welcome. The place was extremely clean, beautiful furnishings and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. We’d return and recommend it to those who want a country setting.

Awesome!

This location is a higher rating than 5 stars. Miriam and Ben were the best hosts. The location is beautiful, quiet and we were not disappointed. If you want rest and relaxation this is the place to go. Miriam left us goodies each morning and they were so good. If we are ever back in this area we will definitely stay here again.

Cozy and Delightful!

Miriam and Ben's cozy barn house apartment offers guests a delightful, rural experience. The accommodations were perfect down to the last detail. Everything you need for a home away from home was provided. Not to mention, the decor was beautiful and relaxing! My favorite feature was the location. The sunsets were stunning every night we were there, and the views were amazing. I grew up in adjacent Lancaster County, and Miriam and her family made us feel right at home. And her garden is enviable!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Best experience ever! Mariam is the best of the best and it shows in all that she does. Every detail, from the decor, to the properties immaculate condition, and to the special touches that is left from her heart. The location was perfect for traveling around Hershey PA, Easton PA, and Lancaster PA and then returning to our home base each night to rest. Don't hesitate to book your next stay here if you want a comfortable, relaxing, pristine place. This is one visit that has personally touched mine and my husband's heart. It didn't bother us that we didn't have a TV or internet service, it felt good to disconnect.
