“We stayed for one night at this darling bed and breakfast located in a secluded area in the mountains of Placerville. Our room was comfortable and had the most amazing view of the surrounding valley. The bed was comfortable and we had wine glasses and a wine bottle opener to enjoy our treasures picked up at local wineries that day. Their pool area is amazing! “The website needs to be updated. Part of the hotel looked abandoned and at first we thought it was closed. We chose this hotel because of location to a wedding, and the beautiful photos of the pool and jacuzzi that we talked up for the grandkids. Sadly, the pool and jacuzzi were inoperable. When discussed with the front desk we were told that the pump had blown and the owner hadn't gotten around to getting it fixed. “Appears to be short staffed...frequently sign at front check-in/desk rather than person. Proud of their old elevator...but floor of elevator frequently misaligns with room level floor making luggage cart useless. Access to our room was hindered by misaligned hardware - inside bolt and locking mechanism. Took a shoulder push to enter. Antiques abound. So if that is your thing...enjoy them.
