"I always like to use the indoor pool. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the pool as the steps into the pool were very slippery and felt like they had not been brushed down recently. I had to hold onto the railing which didn't quite reach over the last step. I felt insecure stepping onto the last step. It was the same getting out. As a senior, I appreciate exercise that isn't too hard on the joints after a day of sightseeing and so I appreciate a pool that is safe and clean. The...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverbend Inn. The hotel and restaurant staff/management provided great service which exceeded our expectations. The breakfast (especially the fresh baked croissants) was delicious. They were very knowlegeable about the wineries in the region. The shuttle service made it easy to get around. It was a peaceful quiet location away from the tourist areas. We would definitely return to the Inn again."

"Location was great for a quick Niagara on the Lake visit, much more affordable than staying in town. Rooms were spacious and quiet. Outdoor gazebo was nice for an afternoon glass of wine and chat. Will return on our next trip."

"A lovely place to stay. Quiet ,very clean and friendly staff. The breakfast is in a dining room with a delicious free breakfast made to order. 15 minute walk to the historic downtown area. I will definitely stay here again. Can do a wine tour through this hotel. We booked online the Walking Ghost Tour with Daniel the Magician and it’s awesome!"

"Room was fine, good size. Washroom was smaller than expected. Breakfast was disappointing. Staff was great. Super friendly and helpful. I needed a shower cap but they were out which was really unfortunate as that is something hotels should really be able to provide."

"We had a little fenced patio off our room which was nice. Breakfast was a disappointment. Boiled eggs, breads, cereal, pastries, yogurt and a little fruit. My husband is celiac so there were no options for him but a banana and yogurt. Rooms were ok, just older and out dated. Location was good."
