"Breakfast needs protein, warm eggs, fresh pastries, yogurt, and sliced fresh fruit. Here you will find hard boiled eggs, biscuits & watery gravy, waffels, diluted juice, and warm coffee for "breakfast" every single morning you stay. Forget the food and go to Stan's Maple Restaurant nearby on State Street to begin the day with a hearty, delicious meal. Stay at Orchard for the nice rooms, clean, quiet property, helpful staff, and attractive rate. Hotels are judged by the comfort of the mattress and cleanliness of the room, not the quality of their complimentary breakfast."

"We have stayed here before and both experiences were about the same. It is in a great location, the property is clean and maintained. They have great dog friendly rooms and the price for a dog is less than most hotels. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn down the street which I prefer for the following reasons. The mattresses at Comfort Inn are basic. I have a chronic pain condition so I prefer higher quality mattress. For the average person I think that mattress would be comfortable, I unfortunately did find the mattress comfortable. The water for a bath does not get hot. I usually have to take baths to manage pain. The water only gets warm which I had forgotten until I tried to take a hot bath again. Unfortunately; that is the reason I probably will not book here again. The breakfast is also pretty limited, but better then nothing for a business traveler. Overall I think it is a good value for the price for the average traveler. For me with special needs it doesn't quite meet the standard."

"This property is so unique and the concept of converting cabooses into rooms was genius. We had a wonderful two night stay. We stayed in “The Gatsby” caboose, which has a deck out front overlooking clear lake. The deck was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and our evening cocktail. Inside our caboose were robes & other amenities to enjoy the in-room jacuzzi. Loved the hanging chairs, and the grounds were so lush and well maintained. The breakfast both days was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool. Megan was so friendly and helpful when we checked in and out. Ally was amazingly friendly & you can see the pride she has for this resort reflected everywhere! Highly recommend."
