The BEST parts about this hotel are the awesomely friendly staff and the wonderful breakfast spread. Also, the men who were the breakfast makers were super profesisonal and made the morning very special for all the guests. Last, the bed was super comfortable, one of the best in a long time. Loved the carpeted room which seemed clean and fresh....the AC worked well too. Sadly, some other aspects of the hotel are in rough shape. The toilet holder in my room was installed poorly and the one toilet paper roll we were given fell to the floor, we gave up. The bolt lock on my door would not lock for it was a bit off and would not catch, in fact, the suite door that led from the sitting room to the bedroom did not match either and was split at the bottom. When I used the bathroom at night I had two roaches crawl under my legs, on the way to the elevator guests are privy to two sets of dirty doors labeled employees only with a chain and an open lock on them, just visually not the best, the main entrance to the hotel is dim at night, when we got there we thought it was closed. Would love for it to be a bit brighter. If only they paid a bit more attention to some of the aesthetics I think this place would be rockin'. Like fix the fixtures in the bathrooms, install nicer doors right by elevators and install some super bright lights outdoors and fumigated for roaches, maybe install wet-proof rugs outside the elevators to absorb pool drippings .....It's got lots of potential.
