“Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again.”

“This property has so much potential being a beautiful, old and characterful inn. I arrived early but the owner was very accommodating, allowing me to check in. My room (a single room) was clean apart from spiders webs and spiders near the ceiling which I removed as I wouldn't have been able to sleep. “Have known this hotel for a number of years and it was one of the best in the area but now needing a facelift without spoiling its design.
