Spacious apartment, modern furnishings. But had to keep curtains drawn- windows full length of walls, overlooking derelict yard full of rubbish and close to other windows. Great location though, near trendy N. Quarter. Not happy when checked in- lady took my card details, authorised £100 and THEN told me. Should have asked, would have given her different card. This meant £100 of holiday spending money unavailable to me, which was 50% of my budget! Doh!

We normally stay in apartments in Manchester as we bring our family along. And this is about our 5th visit but our first at this location.
The apartments are nice and designer like but ok in quality - we stayed for 3 nights for around 300 quid - had we wanted luxury that number will be ten times higher.
About the noise - you are walking distance - and I mean a 2 minute radius - of around 20 bars. Yes its noisy - not loud music just revellers on the street. Not an issue for any of us.
The good things - you are across the road from the Arndale shopping centre, around the corner from the Northern Quarter - which has the best restaurants, across the road from the PrintWorks - not our cup of tea but people like that thing, and the Shudehill tram is right out the back should you plan on going anywhere thats out a bit - I believe they are extending it to the Trafford Centre at the moment.
All in all we will be back - it was safe, comfortable, cheap and right in the middle of things.

My wife and I were finishing up a three-week tour of western Europe and were pretty exhausted. We showed up to the hotel early and were pleased that our room was ready for us. The hotel has a boutique feeling and the first room we stayed in was nice and clean. The staff came to our room about five minutes later to let us know that there was a larger room available so we ended up in a loft with a king bed and small sitting area. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and we had a nice dinner at the pub.

I thought this apartment was excellent and probably better than others I've stayed at in Manchester. For those into shopping you couldn't get closer to the Arndale - right opposite on of the entrances. Since the Arndale is in the City Centre there are loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is very easy right opposite in the Arndale and reasonable for an overnight stay (24h actually). As others have mentioned it isn't easy to see, being a single door and a silver plaque, so make sure you look on Google maps before you go to be sure about getting there without getting lost in the one-way system! Room was clean, large and very pleasant. Reception closes in the evening but it's very easy to phone the number and you can pick up a key from a key-press in the lobby. Simple and straightforward. Recommended.

This was a centrally located hotel from which our family could explore Manchester. The security people on duty were all very accommodating and friendly. The flat itself was a very good size. We had the two bedroom version which had two comfortable beds with good bed linen on them. Our only issue was that the pull out sofa beds in the living room were old and very uncomfortable, so our oldest teen was not happy about the quality of his sleep. Great to have a washing machine and full kitchen. A drying rack for clothes would have been appreciated.

The hotel is located at a great location. The rooms are a bit shady but comfortable. You get what you pay for. Terrible internet connection though. You need to pay for faster internet, which I was not impressed by.

If you’re a music fan or all things vintage, the bohemian Northern Quarter's red brick alleys lead to record shops and vintage clothing stores. The area is filled with warehouses used by fashion designers and many come to enjoy the varied cafes, clubs, bars, coffee shops, and tea rooms. While here, check out the Victorian fish market, Manchester Craft and Design Center.
