"Historic hotel but pretty run down and in need of a refresh. I think they tried, like replacing the carpet with laminate flooring, but many parts of it were obviously dated. It was fun to walk around the lobby area to read the displays and learn about the hotel. Location is good, near lots of good restaurants and shopping. Across the street from the high school so I’m glad it’s summer and schools out, otherwise you would have to compete with school traffic."

"The staff is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We love the room and the location. There is one hot tub and there were a bunch of kids in it. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but it was occupied both nights. We love that it has Starbucks coffee. I’m a vegetarian so disappointed by the breakfast options. An egg sandwich without meat would be a good option. Comfortable bed, clean room. Glad to have a fridge."
