Good location, great view

The property was well appointed everything you needed in the kitchen. Linens were clean soaps shampoos conditioners were supplied. The location was good. Check-in was a little confusing but once she figured it out straightforward. Nice ithat there was an assigned parking spot.

Great access to beach!!!The things we needed were available. There were enough towels for everyone plus one set of change of towels, which was great. Dish cloths and dish towels available. Dishwasher soap was also available. We most especially appreciated that there were beach chairs in the condo and beach towels. That was a definite plus! Communication was also prompt and easy. One small note for improvement would be to leave the salt in the salt shaker - the shaker had been washed clean. I don't think salt qualifies as a perishable. :) Also, the dishes were not child friendly. If you have small kids, you may want to bring plastic dishes from home.

Great Property

We enjoyed our stay. The deck on the top floor was wonderful! The only thing I would change was add a second roll of paper towel, needed a colander, and some shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms.

The condo was great, clean, well furnished, beautiful view from upper bedroom. The HOA was very helpful with bringing us a missing TV control. Grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers. Easy to walk to the beach, pool, pier, & downtown restaurants & shops.

Nice ocean views!

The views from the balconies were amazing. It felt good having dinner outside as we enjoyed the sunset. Everything was clean and ready to go. Tons of windows to enjoy the views. Window treatments are difficult to keep up with, but such a good place to stay. The main area offered a great background for family photoes.

Affordable way to spend time by the beach!

Why spend your $ staying in San Diego when you can have a better time in Oceanside? My family of four (2 and 5 year olds) spent 5 days here during the offseason. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The beach is only 1 block away. We spent everyday walking on the beach and on the pier. If we weren't jet lagged (we are from the East Coast) we would have made some day trips to San Diego (30 minutes away). Highly recommend!

Great place and location. The false about the place was they don t supply toilet paper or paper towels, broken dish washer with dirty dishes, broken vacuum cleaner, fan in bathroom started to smoke, and they shut off are water for a day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location, very clean. Carpets are probably due for an update soon as well as kitchen cabinets due for a coat of paint or replacement. Outstanding views from the three balconies! The one negative was a foul smell in the condo that wasn't present in two other units when we visited with friends. Not sure what the source of the smell was but it was present for the entire week. Overall, we highly recommend makemyvacation and will definitely be back!

Stay was nice

The unit we stayed in was clean. The property is well maintained. The location is great. It was very convenient for us as we were visiting family that lives at Pendleton. Our ONLY issues were the difficulty using the laundry room in our building. It’s down on the lower level and our signal on our phone was no good. The machines needed to connect to the phone through an app because we couldn’t get the cards to work. That and there was no response when using the Hospitality APP to make a request. Make sure you go into the office if you have a question, issue or request.

Great place to stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in December and had no problems with ants. It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The only issue we had was that the hot tub for our building was under repair. We could’ve crossed the street to the other set of buildings and use theirs, but didn’t want to walk that far back in wet suits (it was chilly weather). Not a huge deal though. The views of the ocean from the master bedroom were fantastic. Although you can’t see the ocean from main floor balcony, you have a pretty view of the gardens below. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to make the upstairs TV work and the management had someone come over very quickly to help us. The TV worked fine, we just aren’t great with technology.

Perfect Location and Accomodations!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I couldn't be more impressed with the Lanai Lookout. The condo and facilities are very well maintained. The Condo was clean and in great condition, with new furnishings. The Condo had everything we needed to make our stay like home. Well stocked with dishes and cookware. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Beach toys and chairs. There was 1 boogie board so we bought another and left it there. The pool was great. We just stayed at the pool connected to our building didn't go to the 2 other pools. Pretty much a private pool. There is also a ping pong table in the game room that was fun. A bbq area right outside the pool area.The most impressive thing to me was the location to the beach. Just steps away. The condo was such a great value for the location. I highly recommend Lanai Lookout. We will definitely go back.

Everything was great, except one thing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying in this condo complex. The room was wonderful! It was nicely furnished, comfortable, and had just about everything we needed. And the master upstairs with two balconies was SO nice! We loved the cross breeze and the second balcony was the only one on that side of the building so very quiet. We would probably stay in the condo again if not for one problem. The neighbor across the hall was horrible. Before 9am or after 6pm, if we ever talked in the hallway they told us to be quiet. If our door was open, they told us to be quiet. My brother was in the condo next door and one night we were doing dinner between the rooms and they called security on us for closing our doors too loudly. They say they’re permanent residents so that turned me off to going back. I feel bad for this condo because it’s so great, except for the people across the hall.

Great location steps away from the beach

Property close to the beach and with pool and hot tub on premises-what else can you ask for? Location superb. The apartment itself is older meaning walls and ect. There is pretty good furniture yet, sliding door blinds need to be changed to drapes in upstairs bedroom as they will constantly be broken due to wind. Also, net from one of the sliding doors is standing broken on the balcony upstairs. I sent an email yet, never heard back. I probably needed to call instead of emailing. They respond to a phone call right away. During hot summer days upstairs bedroom might be toasty without air conditioning. Also, leaving sliding doors open at night is not an option as anyone can climb over balcony and pay you a visit lol. I also smelled weed coming from other neighbors which is not something that I was impressed with. Carpet downstairs in the dining area either needs to be constantly washed or changed to something that would be water/sand friendly as people come in from pool/ocean usually wet and sandy. Downstairs bedroom is a little noisy from the cars and other vehicles outside. At first I thought we had windows open but soon realized they were not. Overall it’s not a bad unit with a few improvements might become an excellent stay. My kids loved bunk bed and people/car watching from the living room balcony and I enjoyed ocean view from upstairs bedroom.

This was a wonderful, beautiful place and perfect for our family. And the resort/village is great for keeping kids involved and happy. Oceanside is north of the best parts of San Diego but being at this village compensated for that. Highly recommend this condo!

It was such a great place we loved it the only thing we didn’t like was people from under us hitting the ceiling on us as if we were making noise we were actually interrupted our sleep by them hitting our floor that was unesasery. but other than that we enjoyed our stay we will stay again there thank u

Awesome

We really enjoyed our visit. The unit we rented was exactly as advertised. It was close to the beach and the harbor. We do a lot of cooking and the only thing we found lacking were spatulas and whisks. This being said bring anything special that you like to use from home. As to the property in its entirety, it is not really kid friendly more like a 55+.

Perfect location

This property was perfect for our family. The upper floor bedroom was the absolute best place to sleep. The sound of the ocean was fantastic and the cool night breeze was incredible.

Wonderful getaway!

Property was just as pictured. Beautiful. Could have used a complete map of on ground amenities since gym was in property across the street. Other than that it was great😊
