“Staff were terrible. I asked for a replacement tv remote (as it didn’t work at all - could only switch tv on/off via power switch), was told I’ll bring one up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later went back to reception, rang the buzzer three times & a both aged around 10 arrived. After I explained the problem, he went out the back & returned to say it’d be ready in 15 minutes. I said that wouldn’t suit as I was going out. I also asked about after hours access after 11pm. (No signs around to help……

“My room was always clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming.”

“The room was visibly dirty and poorly maintained. There were stains on the bedding/carpet/furniture. There was hair left on the pillow and bed, suggesting the room had not been properly cleaned between guests. The bed linen did not appear fresh or properly changed. The room gave the impression that it had been cleaned very superficially, if at all. The overall condition was unhygienic and unacceptable for accommodation.”

“Excellent location, close to surrounding attractions. Convenient parking, friendly landlord, smooth check-in. Breakfast is optional, highly recommended.”

“Property was under construction with no sign out front, took a few passes to identify it was our accommodation. Location was nice, has potential for future when construction complete. King bed was a bit soft for my liking, but still comfortable Toaster, microwave, jug, plates etc supplied. Toilet was not secured so banged on wall. Shower was terrible with water pipes vibrating so bad was making water pulsate. Was lectured by staff that I should have rung because booking forum didn't show……

“The room is quite spacious, new and clean, staff is friendly, the other part of the motel is under renovation, can see the ocean from the big slide glass door.”
