Bayside Cottage is an idyllic, charming, and rare place -- one increasingly harder to find as grandiose properties populate many parts of the Island. Thankfully the North Fork has retained much of its character since we began visiting some 20 years ago, and Orient is beautifully preserved with a lot of tender loving care, especially towards nature. “Every single hotel staff I encountered was extremely nice and helpful. The room temp was perfect, it was quiet during the night, the room was very clean. The continental breakfast was just okay. It could use a few more gluten free options. Overall, I thought my stay here was great!”

“Cabin was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff immediately responded at 7am when we called to reset the hot water heater. The Solo fire pit looked very tempting but we did not have the time to enjoy that. will be back!”
