“The owner was very friendly and the room was spacious, clean and tidy. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, too. Very good stay experience, unfortunately only booked one night, hope to have the chance to visit kirkwall again”
“Excellent location. Convenient and walkable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again”
“We were very lucky because both times we parked at the hotel, we got one of the 2 slots in front of the hotel, so we didn't have to try and find the additional parking lot, but the staff did give us a map to find it. “We were very pleasantly surprised to learn our 1 room family suite had 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice.
Only issues were that we only had 1 key which made it tricky every time we went separate places. Also there was an illuminated exit sign in the king bedroom we had to cover up it was so bright, and when others shut their doors it would thump ours. Loved the skylights, was a bit stuffy but those helped. Loved the breakfast!”
“A beautiful place to stay when visiting Orkney. Ideal location to get to all the sights. Accommodation was perfect and Albert and Aileen couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!”
“Best place to stay on Orkney, we did a 4night stay with breakfast and dinner every day, it was amazing specially with the hospitality of Suzanne! 10 out of 10”
“We were warmly welcomed by the staff on arrival and when they showed us up to the room we fell instantly in love with the sea view. The room was very clean and in good shape. What’s more, we ate in the restaurant and the food was fresh, locally sourced and also great value for money when compared to other local options.”
