The hotel is quite cool - looks unimpressive from the outside but inside the rooms are very modern and clean. We had 2 rooms on the top floor with skylights which had remote-controlled shades.
We were given code access to get in - which was perfect as we arrived early and dropped our bags off. We were lucky to fin street parking just across the street from the hotel.
The location was awesome. Right next to the bridge to Ortigia. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants near by.

The Agilia Ortigia Charme Hotel is absolutely superb. Firstly, we were lost in Syracuse, but when we called the hotel to get some guidance, very nice man name Marchello gave us excellent directions and then met us outside the hotel which was a huge help after a long day of driving in Sicily. After check in, we were given a tour of the the hotel by another hotel employee who was also very friendly. Everybody we met at this hotel was so accommodating and friendly.

My hotel room was very clean and staffs were very kind to me.
And your hotel was close enough to go to the sea in swimsuit.
I'd like to visit your hotel again.

We absolutely loved Aretusa Vacanze! The room was very cozy and spacious. The owners were there every morning preparing breakfast, and the rest of the family helped manage the B&B beautifully. We especially appreciated Stefano’s dinner recommendations.

Hotel manager Federico that greeted us at check in was excellent! Was very knowledgeable about the history of Ortigia and suggested things to see and do.

This charming hotel is in a great location overlooking the sea and within easy walking distance of everything in historic Ortygia. Our room was spotlessly clean and came with a small balcony that overlooked the street and ancient church below. There is an amazing rooftop terrace, open to guests, where one can sunbathe or eat a meal overlooking the absolutely beautiful blue Mediterranean. The helpful staff assisted us as we found a nearby parking spot for our car and gave us a paper to put on the...

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. It's in a great location, easy to get to, helpful staff, and has an amazing view. The parking wasn't really an issue either.
We were greeted with two glasses of prosecco and some bruschetta. We hope to return someday.

I can't wait to come back to this magical corner of the world. The family running the hotel were lovely, accommodating, and the room was dreamy with ice cold a/c. The beach is short walk to the end of the block. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Think about paying a visit to Ortygia, which lies 0.2 miles southeast of Syracuse's city center.
With so many places to explore and things to see, you won't get bored in Syracuse! The Cathedral of Syracuse, Temple of Apollo and the Museo Archeologico Regionale Paolo Orsi are just a sample of its leading attractions.
History enthusiasts must visit Museum of Cinema, a place where history springs to life to tell the tales and events of a bygone era. There's a nice variety of hotels to select from just a short commute away. The Hotel Gutkowski and L'Approdo delle Sirene are great options. Admire the façade of Jewish Bath, one of this destination's most well-known hotels. Perhaps you can even spend a few nights there! The Alla Giudecca and La Casa delle Fate are among the hotels to look into near here.
Ortygia offers a wealth of hotels which enables visitors to pick a room that best matches their needs. Visitors who are watching their pennies should take a look at the Il Rosone and B&B Del Centro Storico Ortigia.
Follow the smell of coffee to Gelati Bianca, a favorite Ortygia diner where you can enjoy some time out. Those wanting something more substantial can sit down to a meal at Ristorante Vittorini. The fun doesn't have to stop there. When the sun starts to go down, you can raise a glass to a terrific day out at Hybla Pub Di Lanteri Maria.
