“What a fun and different way to experience life along the canal in this part of the city. The houseboat was very comfortable however, if you have a bad back or are uncomfortable with stairs, this would not be appropriate. Both rooms have lower ceilings. We were completely comfortable with the beds and sitting area. We took advantage of the upper deck and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and watching the boats go by. The houseboat was very clean and and the location was ideal. Great……

“This property is very special being an early seventeenth century merchants house on the side of a canal. The views from the large fourth floor windows are wonderful. There is everything you need in the apartment for a holiday and the host is extremely helpful. We had a problem with a key which they dealt with immediately.It is important that prospective guests understand how steep the original stairs are - they are not suitable for anyone with any mobility restrictions.”

“Wonderful trip in Amstedam! This prperty is exactly as depicted in listing, very clean and optimal location. Neighborhood felt very safe. Steve was a fantastic host- kept in contact to make certain our stay was going well/ if we needed anything, gave great restaurant reviews and ordered us a taxi for our return to the airport. “We had the best stay here! Everyone was lovely and the room was quite spacious. It does have the typical steep Amsterdam stairs, but Johannes carried up our bags for us which was so kind! Beautiful views of the canal too and cute Henry the Heron. We would definitely recommend. ”

“Wir haben uns in Amsterdam und speziell bei unserer Vermieterin sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, was für uns, nachdem wir die Stadt ausschließlich zu Fuß erkundet haben, ideal ist. Zimmer mit Bad bietet alles was man braucht. “We stayed with Mercedes for about 8 days. It was a lovely studio in a great location. Easy walk to the train station or a metro line. The spot is in a beautiful part of the city, and it is very close to a major shopping street for quick essentials, a grocery store, and bakeries. It was a great stay.”

“Loved this B&B experience. Yeah he was friendly and bridget is at the front porch. Breakfast was absolutely spectacular. He had a wonderful suggestions of things we could go to see and do. Also, the location is outstanding. Close to corrals and picturesque. I found the accommodations to be clean and comfortable. Highly recommend them to anyone.”

“Great place and location. Short walk to much of what we wanted to see. Tram is a few minutes away. Note there are tight circular stairs to get to the living and then bedrooms. Anna was great in helping us carry them up. And tbh we left a couple bags in the entryway (totally safe and locked). Overall we had a great stay and would book there again. ”

“Amazing location - convenient to most everything. This was my first time staying in this part of Amsterdam and I can recommend Amsterdam4holiday as a comfortable place to return to during a business trip or a great central hub if you are wanting to tour this great city. The host is friendly and helpful. I was traveling solo this time for a five day business trip and felt quite safe. Highly recommend. I'd stay here again.”

"It is very difficult to find connecting rooms in the city, but this hotel has them. The staff are okay, and the room is extremely comfortable, especially the bed, which is exceptionally cozy. The view is beautiful, and the location is very convenient, right next to the Eurostar train station. There are no slippers, comb, shower cap, toothbrush, or similar amenities in the room. They do have shower gel, shampoo and a hair dryer.
Overall, it is a very comfortable hotel."

"Overall, I had a great stay. The design of the hotel was stylish and thoughtfully curated—modern, with a sophisticated color palette that I really loved. The only downside was the noise from the room above. Every late night and early morning, I could clearly hear footsteps overhead, and even the ceiling light fixture in my room would rattle with a metallic or glass-clinking sound. It was quite unsettling and affected my rest. If the sound insulation between floors could be improved, it would make the experience so much better. That said, the aesthetic of the space was beautiful, and I truly appreciated the hotel’s unique and elevated design.

"I really love this hotel! It’s very eco-friendly, comfortable, and smells great. The design is so stylish, and I truly enjoy everything about it.
The only thing that really bothered me was the occasional light knocking sound on the walls throughout the day. It especially affected my sleep at night.
Also, the pillows were too soft for my preference.
If I have the chance, I’d love to stay here again, but I hope the knocking sound won’t happen next time.
