There was only 1 coffee machine and again, people crammed into 1 corner waiting to get coffee. Needs a better layout. The most disappointing issue though was after our first night, we left for the day. We asked the cleaning staff if they could just empty the trash, exchange washcloths and hand towels and vacuum the room because we had spilt oatmeal on the floor. No couch, no rollaway, no other rooms available. They did give us some extra blankets so he could sleepmon the floor. The property is old but the room & grounds seemed pretty clean. Breakfast was basic- variety of pastries & thankfully hard boiled eggs for protein. New owners brought in a fancy coffee machine that dispensed sugar water powder coffee. Thankfully it kept malfunctioning so the staff made us good old fashioned drip coffee from real beans. A suggestion for hotel would be replacing outdated lamps with lamps that have charging outlets. TV in room had a messed up screen, although we weren’t on this trip to watch tv, it was annoying. Loved the room. Our room had a fireplace that used duraflame.
