“We were not able to stay at our reserved place. The host called us the day before and told us that the heat went out in the property we had reserved, and could not be fixed in time. However, the host owns other properties in Birmingham, and so gave us other options. We were satisfied with the replacement. The host gave us a refund on the price difference.Consequently, this five star rating is for the customer service, not for the property listed, since I cannot comment on that.”

The outside or the community is an apartment community, and initially I was hesitant just because I was surprised to see it was an apartment community. But when you go inside, I have never been to a VRBO that was that well organized with extra blankets, full-size washer dryer, all the glasses, all the kitchen utensils you could potentially need. It was clean. It was organized. It was bright and nothing what I expected. Don't let the……

“Great property. Very clean and close to parks and the downtown area. Several areas that you can walk your dog. Parking was super easy. Only critique would be the WiFi - the tv/streaming was interrupted daily and would have to reset the server to get it back. The host were very attentive sent me info timely and instructions for the visit were excellent. Will stay here again!”

“Great clean home. As described. Lots of space. Will say carpets are in pretty bad shape. Kind of gross. Working with the manager of the house was a bit frustrating. Delayed responses to emails and we asked for an early check in if 2 hours which seemed difficult for them. Overall a good stay. ”

“This room is a great location in downtown Birmingham with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The place was easy to find and access. My main complaint was the presence of a few roaches, and the bathroom had a VERY strong smell of cat litter. At least that's the first thing that came to mind when I noticed the smell. I spent plenty of time trying to figure out if I had missed something or if the smell was coming from somewhere else. The bathroom was otherwise clean.”
