Hotel is in the process of upgrades. Signage was still present and all public spaces were clean and operational. Room was nice and quiet. Hotel offers free shuttle to and from airport, but the schedule is limited. Early flights are not covered, which was disappointing and not included in any documentation. I did not find out until I arrived at the hotel that "free airport shuttle" was limited. I might stay there again.

The ladies at the front desk during check in were very pleasant. But once you turn the hallway to get to rooms is gross. I believe they are in the process of remodeling but the floors are disgusting. Our room smelled like mold and the air didn't get very cold. The elevator is TINY and very invonvenient for all of the renovations that are occuring. The pool was not "clear". And don't even get me started on the breakfast. The waffle maker was absolutely filthy and everything sticks. The eggs were watery and the sausage tasted like rubber. The milk for the cereal was hot and things were just left out and messes everywhere.

The only positive is the bed was clean. The room smelled like an old locker room with sweaty socks and mildew. There was a blood stain on the black out shades which didn't close fully. The towels were threadbare and the breakfast selection was minimal. There is also construction going on throughout the property. It might have been bearable if the staff and especially the manager, Deanna, were honest and gracious when they deal with a mistake made at their end. But they weren't. Deanna was very disingenuous and unpleasant to deal with. Later on, while checking out, I watched her berate a long term guest. Her customer service skills are non-existent, and she is definitely on a power trip. I do not recommend this place at all.

Kayla was amazing, she was so kind, professional, and did what she could to accommodate me, when other hotels just jsaid they were booked and brushed me off. If she ever wants to relocate to Indiana i will make sure she has a position with my company. She is an amazing person. Please recognize her, you are lucky to have her employed with you.
