There’s a which appeared to be a shabby damaged chain link fence with over grown vegetation all over it out front to greet you. No cars in the parking lot. The place looked run down from the outside. There was no way in hell I was going to stay at this place. Kind of made me feel unsafe to stay there. With the big event in town I didn’t have time to waste in finding another hotel fortunately I was able to find another room down the road because of a last minute cancellation. A partial discount is not acceptable I want a full refund. The day I tried to check in they asked me if I “got the notice of the rate change” and doubled the price on the spot because a big event was happening that weekend. They already charged my card $67 so I told them I am only paying $67\. Then they said I am checking in “late” (past 9 pm) and canceled my room because I was a “no show”. I had to get a room at the Hilton (which was much nicer anyway). Other people behind me in line also had to pay a doubled rate, but because they didn’t push back on the rate change, they didn’t get their room cancelled. Shady hotel. We stayed 4 nights and nobody came to clean the room any day. The first night I asked for a wash cloth and was told they don't provide wash cloth. Someone did provide me one later. We had 2 small towels and 2 hand towels for 2 people to use for 4 day a nobody cleaned the room.
