"The location was great for downtown, the hotel was clean and breakfast was decent. I do wish they would have the full coffee bar available by 5am every morning and not just make in room coffee. I did notice poor attitude from some of staff. The clerk that checked our group in was not very friendly at all. She should not be working in hospitality industry. There were a couple of other times we had to ask about amenities and the over all demeanor and attitude from some of the staff was just not polite or wanting to be helpful."

"The front desk woman was super sweet and welcoming. The hotel itself has a lot of character and is pretty cool, although it could definitely use some updating. Our room had a musty smell, and the bathroom floors—especially in the corners—could use a deeper cleaning. Overall, we just needed an affordable place to sleep for one night while visiting Clemson for a tour, and for around $100, it did the job. Not fancy, but perfectly fine for a quick overnight stay."
