I did like the Kimpton Everly. The room was exactly as I'd expected with a lovely view of the Hollywood hills and sign. The staff were friendly and courteous. I used the bar area some evenings and the service was excellent. However, and this is not a fault of the Everly, unless you have your own transport or using Taxis/Ubers for every trip you are pretty well stuck. The Public transport is ropey and suspect at best. The area around has its problem with homelessness and we didn't feel safe walking especially after dark which is at around 18:50 when we were there. Just something to consider if you're a tourist in the area. However the KImpton Everly is an excellent hotel with good service.
