"Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft neu. Direkt gegenüber gab es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Die Häuser in der Umgebung waren etwas älter und nicht im gleichen Zustand wie die Unterkunft, nicht von der Anfahrt abschrecken lassen."

"The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and full of great amenities. We loved sitting on the front porch taking in the water views over the village. No need to venture far as the village is walkable, has great shops for basic food and the restaurants are all wonderful! Major grocery store is a 10 minute drive. Make sure to do the waterfront walking path at the village especially if the waves are on the larger size. It’s quite a show. The property around the villa are beautiful and lush."

"This is a lovely, well-equipped apartment which has a spacious balcony with ever-changing views of the sea and the mountains. It’s only a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants of Porto da Cruz and only a short drive from the airport. We had a warm welcome (with Christmas cake!) from Carolyn. Recommended."
