“We loved our villas ( rented both), located central in the city of Praiano!!! The view is stunning and 2 outdoor spaces are perfect for groups of 4-6. The city has some fabulous restaurants and 2 awesome beaches. Positano and Amalfi are close but the hills take time when walking and/or transportation. We had a few glitches with one of the villas host was attentive and sent maintenance the next day. The taxi is expensive so we figured out local bus and used w/o difficulty - pre purchased tickets……

“We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Duchessa d'Amalfi. First, our host Gaetano was amazing. He arranged boat trips, wine tours, cooking classes and cars for us. And was generally very helpful and super responsive on Whatsapp if anything came up. The place itself was beautiful. The terrace overlooking the ocean was huge and well appointed. We tended to spend mornings and evenings out on the terrace enjoying coffee or a light meal. The pictures are accurate but can't really do the terrace……

The view was spectacular. andvisible in three different rooms and on two sides sides of the property. Check-in was a little challenging because my phone did not have Wi-Fi at the location where we had to meet the host to let him know we had arrived there. Fortunately, my husband‘s phone had Wi-Fi. “Our amazing host, Dani, greeted us by the ferry dock when we arrived from Capri, and gave us a tour of the neighborhood which was super helpful. Despite being located next to the beach, with the windows and balconies shut Villa Dani is as quiet as a vault, providing soothing respite from the constant crowds.
