"Die Villa Zagara ist im Verhältnis zu den Abbildungen eher schlicht. Das Frühstück war nicht sehr reichhaltig. Es gab im wesentlichen Obst und süßes Gebäck. Der Nachteil an der Lage ist, dass man zu Fuß vom Zentrum von Amalfi einen größeren Anstieg mit etwa 200 Stufen zurücklegen muss. Das war uns nicht klar. "It took me a while to find a hotel with all the things you need while staying in Amalfi. This hotel’s view is a million dollar view! They have a shuttle to take to the city center/private beach all day long and to pick you up from the city center/pool. Make sure to schedule ahead as they can get booked. The pool is gorgeous and the staff is extra friendly, professional and accommodating. They are helpful and very courteous. Highly recommend. Amalfi stays can require lots of steps and very inconvenient for your luggage. This hotel solves it all!"

"Rooms were very clean. Staff was also super helpful and polite. Transport was easy from the airport and to the train station. The hotel is located next to a good restaurant. Just down the steps you are in the small main area with shops and lots of restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach!! The hotel will even make reservations for you if you want somewhere to eat or if you want a ferry trip. I would definitely stay here again!!!!"

"I had a wonderful stay overall. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The views were amazing, and even enjoyed being away from the busy crowds of Amalfi and was so peaceful. My room was amazing and private, which I loved. Asia was super helpful with everything, arranging the private transportation from and to Naples, helping with recommendations and the best recommendations for a tour to Capri, loved it. Future guests should know that the property is about 30–35 minutes WALK from Amalfi town center, and 10 min buss ride, but it may take a little time to understand the bus system . The hotel can arrange golf cart transportation, but I recommend confirming the price beforehand, since once I arrived in Amalfi from taking the golf cart he tried to charge me double (which I don’t think was the hotel’s fault) Also, be prepared for a lot of stairs—much more than I expected! After a couple of days, though, I got used to it and even considered it part of my daily workout haha. If you don’t mind some walking and want a peaceful Amalfi Coast experience, with breathtaking views, this is a great place to stay. 🇮🇹✨"

"A truly magnificent one of a kind property overlooking Amalfi port and coast. The medieval monastery setting and the modern hotel amenities blend in very nicely. It’s probably also the largest property, at least from what we saw in amalfi or positano. Couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else."
