Very comfortable one bedroom apartment suite on the Royal Mile but far enough down the hill as to render it quiet. Great breakfast. Near everything. Not luxurious but sufficient to our needs.

We came back to edingburgh to stay two more nights before traveling to iceland. I found this hidden gem right of St. James square. It’s so cute apartment with kitchen, utensils, each unit has their own washer/dryer with detergents supplied, clean, and quaint. Very close to rail, tram, and bus station. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. You can get a cup of coffee or hot water extra towels at the front desk.Highly recommended for those wee are traveling here.

Neat place to stay and close to everything. Large room and nice staff. Enjoyed the fender bluetooth speaker. Annoying check in process - it is ‘self check in’ but without the host help you could probably never do it. You have to make your own room keys when there is staff standing right there. Good if you came in late I guess. Auto emails about my reservation and check in said my reservation could not be found, which was worrisome but then they did have the reservation. Decent breakfast included. Shower took a day to drain. Would still stay again but the place had it quirks.

You cannot ask for a better location for a hotel. This spot is right at the corner of the iconic Victoria Street. The facilities were clean and being attached to the pub is a nice perk. Helpful staff are available around the clock and were responsive to each of our requests. I would stay here again! Note: if you are using public transit to get around, be prepared for a strenuous hike up the hill with your bags.
