“We had a “cosy” room which was fine in terms of size for what we needed. However the room was right at the back of the building and accessed via 7 sets of stairs (6 up and 1 down) and 6 fire doors. As we were taken further and further into the warren we started laughing it was so ridiculous! It was also over the open entrance to the adjacent pub, The Harbour Inn. This is a very busy place with live music for the two nights we stayed. After the music finished there is a crowd outside the pub……

“Awful place, room was described as having an ensuite, the shower was in the bedroom with a toilet in a closet, mould and water damage directly outside the room, mould all over the room, when we told them we had to leave they still charged us for 2 nights when we didn't stay there at all and had booked it on the day”

“Very good view of the harbour.Didn’t like the stairs,Low beams.Needs brighter signs warning of low beams would help.Kept banging my head Could do with better selection of food.poor breakfast very greasy.Staff very friendly Had issue when we arrived as our room was given to another couple.Fair play to senior staff They moved the couple to another room.They had to get us some more biscuits as they had eaten them.”

“As a first time ,solo traveller, I couldn't praise the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel enough. They were all so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble , particularly in the restaurant and bar. The hotel has only been open a few weeks and there are still a few facilities not open but I will certainly return next year when the pool area etc should be complet. Thank you for a lovely stay”

“The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. We had a coffee maker and yummy biscuits in our room. We also had dry robes in the wardrobe to use at the beach over the road. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was dinner. They were very good at accommodating my husbands food allergies and had plant based alternatives for him. Even his dessert was delicious where oftenhe finds he……

“Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. Helen even asked me what milk we drink and made sure there was a pint of semi skimmed in the fridge on arrival.. Thanks Helen. The bed and the sofa were……

“Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. Lovely quality bedding, pillows etc. We loved the swimming pool, showers and changing rooms - great. The outside jacuzzi which you swim out through the pool doors to get too. We could have stayed……
