"I really enjoyed the unique feel of The Campbell Hotel on historic Route 66. Parking and check-in were a breeze. All rooms are on the second floor, accessible by elevator or a wide carpeted staircase. Stepping off the elevator, I was surprised to see a spacious, naturally lit sitting area and a conference or dining room, which made it feel more like staying in a grand old house than a hotel. Room doors retain their authenticity but are unlocked with modern keycards. Room interiors are a blend of retro and modern design as well. The pillows and bed were exceptionally comfortable. I did not visit the bar in the lobby, but it looked like fun. Breakfast, lunch, and sometimes-dinner restaurant Toast is adjacent to The Campbell. There is also a no-frills burger diner within easy walking distance. Great pit stop on Route 66!"
