“Unfortunately, the experience in MacDonald Craxton Wood was not the best. Starting with our room not being ready for the 3pm check in. Our room then was not the cleanest. The jug of water was also not fresh with the water from the last guest still being in it, lack of plugs in the rooms and the TV was not smart. We then discovered the next day after returning from a busy day out the rooms aren’t serviced unless you request it. Now reception did give us fresh towels when asked but didn’t……

“Very friendly staff good breakfast for £10 we were attending a function at Craxton Wood hotel which is a walk along a uneven grass verge next to a very busy road and takes 10mins walking slow We got a taxi back as after 12pm which was under £5”

“This is a lovely property with a gym swimming pool sauna and steam room. Big rooms with polite respectful staff. Highly recommended 5*****”

“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”

“The rooms / bathroom need a real boost. Its old..beds are far to small for " normall size" people. There is a seperate cold and hot water in the sink.???? The outside does not tell how the inside of the rooms are. You can here the people in the room next to you.”
