The staff is amazing! They are so helpful including Maria Soledad and Rebeca. The location is truly unique, A water taxi ride is needed to get to the hotel from downtown. It's fun and easy and only cost $1 per person. 6 options with included breakfast are all excellent. Recommend booking with breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everyone was extremely courteous. The property was beautiful. We were glad to use this as our base for the day trips to the island.
The property itself was amazing. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the way they greet you is very pleasant. I also eat at the restaurant that they have there and the food was amazing as well. Only two things that were not ideal on my end was that there is construction going on from 7 AM all the way until eight or 9 PM. Also, the room I was staying in which is called the southern Cross is outdated and old. It was seen crack they were stained. The Jacuzzi does not work, the vanity in the bathroom was old and staining. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay and once all the renovations are complete I would like to go back if possible. I think the biggest selling point for this hotel is the team they have on staff. They are extremely friendly and willing to help at all times.
Excellent - great ambiance with waterfront and bungalow rooms and foliage on the ground . Very accommodating and friendly staff and water taxi was convenient to have an oasis within reach of the town
Beautiful view and very friendly staff. You do have to take a water taxi ($1 and operates 24/7) to the main part of downtown Santa Cruz but the view is worth it! Also it’s across from The Point by Midoro which as an amazing view and food. I would stay there again!
Wonderful time at the Angermeyer hotel. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Room clean and spacious. Breakfast, especially the daily changing juice and delicious coffee were spot on. Only thing we missed was an outside lounging area for sub bathing/chilling, other than the space in front of the office.
More 4 stars for the location, the rooms were ok, beds were extremely firm, we had an issue that was difficult to try and get resolved and never actually was resolved, food at their restaurant was great including the complementary breakfast, very nice that it’s five minutes from an amazing beach and 15 minutes from Las Grietas

The staff members were great. The hotel is right next door to a popular restaurant, The Point, but the restaurant at the hotel, Eloise, was just as good if not better.
The location is great to be able to visit Las Grietas and water taxis are readily available.
We stayed in a suite with a king bed, and our only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathtubs or remove them completely.
It was the perfect three-day stay otherwise.

The staff was always super sweet and caring. Genuinely cared about us having a wonderful stay.
Overall a perfect 3 night stay after a 5 day busy (and amazing) Galapagos cruise! One of our rooms was kindly upgraded at check-in. We were greeted with delicious cool drinks and hot face towels, and very kind staff. Daily house keeping (with water replenishment) and very comfortable rooms with gorgeous views. The king bed was very comfortable in our suite, perhaps not as comfortable in our teens’ room but they did fine. Very quiet and peaceful, slept soundly. Always felt safe. Excellent breakfast choices and lovely staff. Also had lunch and dinner at Eloise. Watched sharks swim by at night, and during the day a seal slept on the restaurant patio between meal service. Water taxi to town was easy. Took a $5 taxi to Charles Darwin Center and walked back into town, stopping at 1835 restaurant for a delicious lunch. Spent time at the beach near Finch Bay and had one lunch at their swimming pool patio bar. Went to The Rock (Asian Fusion) for one dinner on the main drive. We ventured into some more local blocks one night but it was quite noisy with everyone playing loud music in their restaurants and pushing menus at you as you walked past. It was ok but we preferred the main road restaurant experiences.
Nice waterfront hotel with staff that goes above and beyond. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was convenient walking to a beach and Las Grietas. Be aware that to visit the mainland where all shopping and additional restaurants are, you need to pay water taxi 1$ each way .
Stunning location and property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms beautiful overlooking the water. It is away from the center of Puerto Ayora so need to take a water taxi there. Completely worth it!
