“Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing. It appears that at one time it may have been a great resort, but now it seems to be in need of better management. An all-inclusive resort should strive to provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Most staff members seemed to follow a script and did not appear genuinely interested in providing friendly, personalized service. “I was very disappointed with my stay. The room had a strong musty, mold like smell that was unpleasant throughout our stay. There was also no Wi-Fi, which was extremely inconvenient. The biggest issue was the lack of an elevator. Having to carry strollers, suitcases, and all of our belongings up to the third floor was exhausting especially for families with young children or anyone traveling with heavy luggage. This is a major accessibility issue that the resort should seriously address. An……

“I have been returning to Velero Beach Resort multiple times over the past 20 years. The stay is always wonderful. The staff are exceptionally gracious and the location right on the water's edge is magnificent. Daily breakfast in the Sunset Grill is always a treat, only to be surpassed by watching sunset from the same location for dinner. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back again.”
