"if you are thinking about going to this resort, GO! Prior to booking, i read the reviews and they weren't looking too good but i went ahead and booked anyway to see for myself. and I'm glad i did. i do have to say, i would recommend paying a little extra to stay in the newer buildings because that's what i did and it was amazing, you also get the option of a swim up pool room which i got as well. they had a decent selection for food, and a 24 hr lounge/bar which provides room service, only con is that they charge you a $20 fee every time you order room service. delivery services don't even charge that high. the staff were friendly and addressed any issues we had in a timely manner. overall, this place isn't as bad as most of the reviews make it seem."

"I booked New Garden for 2 nights because I misread my arrival date and my other hotel was full. It is actually a nice place, the rooms are a bit off the street so it’s pretty quiet. Now, it is not for children, but what of Sosua is. Keep that in mind. Rooms are basic but large and adequate. Staff are amazing! Front desk, security, restaurant/bar. Everyone was very very nice! "
