"This a great place to discover the little town of Cathlamet and the Columbia River. You also have close access to the little ferry that brings you over to the Oregon area which is great to use if you want to visit places like Astoria."

"When we first arrived we thought, what did we get ourselves into, however once we saw the room we were amazed. Very nice modern room with an amazing view. It felt like we were floating on the water. The only thing I would recommend is to have the windows washed. This would improve the view even more. Thank you Nick for your quick response to the questions we had. Would highly recommend this place."

"We came in town for a wedding, The location was close to the venue and just what we needed. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house but it had everything we needed! The host was very communicative and accommodated an early check in for us which was fantastic. My only suggestion is new mattresses on the beds :)"

"This place was awesome. We absolutely loved it. It was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock in the early mornings drinking our coffee, watching the birds, fishing and seeing the boats cruise by. It was everything we expected and more! Can't wait to book another trip!"

'Astoria Painted Lady' Historic Apt w/ River View!

"Evolve was kind & responsive. House seems clean enough. The kitchen had all the things needed for cooking. There was a nice coffee/tea station. There is a nice view of the Columbia River from 2 kitchen windows. The deck is down stairs overlooking the Columbia River, it’s not particularly private because of the large windows that are the residents. When entering the front entrance (to your space) on the right is the OPEN stairs up to your living room tho to the left is a locked door with a deadbolt that has a key hole from your side. That would either mean the tenant can unlock it from the residence side with either their own key or thumb turn…I don’t know what they have tho fire code for a residents requires a thumb turn so they can exit provided rental doors . Evolve says this is secure tho it can’t be to be a legal exist. We had no issues tho it was unsettling. Please read the reviews back to 2016/ 2018 …this is how long work has been happening in the third bathroom. Another review stated a dislike of the decorative masks in the stairway …they are bothersome & it makes no sense to me why the owner wouldn’t just take them down? By the way, the library with the pull out couch is actually the living room. Reviews have also mentioned the need for window coverings.. tho still not provided in the living room that can be used for sleeping. A clear stepping stone path & sign would be helpful to lead guests to back entrance. Evolve please encourage the owner to fix these items."
