“Family friendly, spacious rooms. Tons to do at the resort and in town. Nice casual walk to town that takes minutes. The only negative as a young family were the doors in the West Lodge. The rooms only have a push button for a lock, wish they had a high latch on both the inside and deck doors. Other than that great place!”

“Loved the quietness. Very relaxing and close to the Ticonderoga ferry on Lake Champlain on the Vermont side. The owners are very nice. Serves a fabulous breakfast every morning. Has a bar on property as it is a pub and offers food only Thursday to Sunday for an extra cost for those staying at the Inn and some locals in the area. The area is rural and lots of dairy farms in the area. There is an Exxon Mobil station less than a mile away that is quite large. You can also get food there. There is……

“The workout room was better than average. Multiple machines, one was out of commission. Needs a weight rack. The breakfast room was often out of items, eg no fruit or yogurt. Worst issue was pool room equipment room malfunction made it hard to sleep one night.”

“It is a perfect place to sense of small-town New York. And just across the road there is a short walk to Schroon Lake which is marvellous as it is lined by trees that are close to 100 feet high. Beautiful lake view with a small, sandy beach. Owners are delightful to speak with. Very pleasant experience.”
