It definitely gives nostalgic vibes of being in a log and stone cabin in the woods. The rooms and property are very clean and cozy and updated without ruining the rustic feel. We have stayed at this property many times and it has never failed to please. The rooms (we had king room) are very up to date and well maintained. Really clean. There is breakfast which I haven't eaten yet today but it's been very adequate on past stays. My only tip, and I hope I remember this, is to request a room away from the highway as the traffic is heavy. Enjoy!

Overall our stay at MTK was very positive. Generally staff was responsive and friendly but not our experience in the restaurant. Service person barely greeted us, sat looking at his phone, apparently not checking on our food for which we waited a very long time. He made it quite clear that he did not enjoy his job and did not want to be there. However, we definitely would stay at MTK again without hesitation.

I was a little worried when I saw the old hotel on the road hoping this wasn’t the hotel. Then we drove around back and saw the new hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful hotel and very clean. Pool wasn’t open but that was ok for us as we just stayed for one night. Definitely would stay again.
