The wifi was non-existent. The owner made us feel uncomfortable when we were using the kitchen and he was not a people person. It did have a beautiful view from the dining room though. It seemed over priced compared to other places we have stayed.
We absolutely loved our time in the Castle! We appreciated that the house is in a very sentimental state and found that it added to its warmth and cosines. As Aussies, we loved the reference to the ‘Castle’ Movie. The planes were not a problem at all, and we quite enjoyed watching them fly over. ...
Very large rooms for the price and very clean with all facilities included
Welcome to Queenstown! Once your plane has come to a standstill at Queenstown International Airport (ZQN) and the cabin doors have been disarmed, discover The Extreme Sports Capital of the World with a little bit of help from Expedia.
Although you won't be able to step right off the plane and land in a nice cozy bed, there are a handful of accommodations that are fairly close to Queenstown International Airport. The Element Escapes is always a nice choice. Alternatively, if you're on the lookout for complimentary airport shuttle service, the Asure Queenstown Gateway Apartments will be right up your alley.
Want to escape the airport? You'll be happy to learn that there are a number of hotels in the neighboring areas. The Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa and the Luxury Lake Suites are just a couple of the options you'll have if you choose to stay in Frankton. Alternatively, Kelvin Heights is also nearby, and has 18 hotels available. Take a look at the Rees Hotel and Luxury Apartments and the Villa del Lago.
While you're in the area, why not check out some sights? From the terminal, visting Coronet Peak Ski Area is easy. This wonderful attraction lies just 7 miles away.
