My ocean facing cabin was immaculate! A perfect spot to spend a few days walking at Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve, strolling some back roads looking for icebergs, taking in happenings in local communities! Thanks Dana, Marina and Ted!

The cabins were stocked with all we needed, just across the road to the shore. Across the water a short distance away was the reserve, very interesting area, iceberg close to shore. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, St Anthony is a short drive or the tickle on the way to the meadows.

The cabin was really nice, clean and well maintained on the inside. Tv issue was addressed quickly but often no interernet. No restaurant or take out food in the area. Check in was efficient with very small amount of canned goods for sale. Weeds were 2 feet tall all around the cabin. No tv 2 nights in a row until I called. We thought we were getting a view of the bay but got a view of the house across the street. 1 lawn chair for 3 adults.

Lovely, spacious, clean cabins. The beds were very comfortable. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Things to improve: Stovetop elements didn't work consistently. No laundry detergent was provided. Long-expired pantry items (i.e. vegetable oil from 2023) Communication with the hosts was inconsistent. There were 2 Expedia chat channels (not sure why) but never received any responses from them in either. Perhaps it was a technical glitch (?) Some confusing information appeared in the directions for check-in and location info, directing us to a "Viking Lodge" instead of our Burnt Cape Cabins.

We had booked a cabin, however we were told the system put us in the apartment… they knew this happens but haven’t solved it… no water view, no bbq pit… not what we paid for. Despite that the apartment was clean, modern, and well equipped. They should have been able to advise us back in January when we booked and gave us the option to look elsewhere.
