From the moment we arrived we felt charmed by the architecture of the hotel and the friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, all the staff we spoke to had enough English to make life easier than trying out my terrible German!
The Zeppelin Bar was a lovely way to wind down after spending a day sight seeing. Very near to all the ferries to cross the Lake, close to the restaurants and bars but set apart and very quiet apart from the railway which crosses at the front of the hotel, the trains stop late evening and don't start again till early morning, our room was facing the town so we hear it but it wasn't much of a problem.
The breakfasts are epic, such a fantastic choice and the views over the lake are truly beautiful. We rented bikes from reception and really enjoyed our stay and would return.
