“Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟”

“Room we had had a beautiful sea view, the bathroom was lovely and roomy. Unfortunately the plugs in the sink and bath did not hold the water in. The breakfast menu was a bit of a joke, they were trying to be a bit a la carte which unfortunately didn't pay off. The toaster didn't work and from one day to the next the menu changed. “Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. “This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.”

“Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. ”

“I don't think I've ever been made to feel so unwelcome at a hotel or B'n'B. We were using public transport. We were dropped off by taxi at 10am. Obviously we weren't expecting to check in but I've never stayed anywhere where luggage storage isn't available. The owner's immediate reaction was to tell us we check in isn't until 2. She did allow us to leave the luggage but I was taken aback at the unwelcoming attitude. We came back at 2. Owner complained that she had no details about the booking....

“We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...
