“If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Conchal enough. It's a gorgeous little boutique hotel with a small number of rooms, which makes the experience feel less cookie-cutter. The staff are incredible, & the space itself looks exactly like the pictures - full of greenery & wildlife, & the pool is perfect. Things to note if you plan on staying here: - It's not a luxury hotel, but the staff will give you luxury hotel service. - The hotel itself is right off a main road, so you WILL hear traffic……

“I chose this resort for accessibility. Expedia told me to email the resort directly. I did, three weeks out, in detail. Receipt was confirmed. The rooms controller replied two days before arrival with options showing she never read it, ignored my two follow-ups, then emailed at 4:41 PM on arrival day, 41 minutes after we were already standing in the lobby, claiming they “were waiting for us.” Nobody had read the email. They drove us in 91-degree heat to two rooms. The first was promised as……

“We had a horrible experience before coming to this place so we were extraordinarily happy to find a clean location. This place is brand new so it’s very clean and wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. They are currently building a club and pool area on the beach across from the rooms that we stayed at. If you stay before 2027 and you want a pool, they are offering for you……
